Java will not compile in Atom

#1

Sorry to bother you, I am having an annoying issue with Atom. When I try to compile a Java file I get the following error

javac: file not found: Arithmetic.java
Usage: javac <options> <source files>
use -help for a list of possible options

It is almost like it is trying to look for my file Arithmetic.java from within my Java binaries folder! My path variable is set correctly and I can compile the same file in Textpad and Sublime Text.

Any ideas?

Please see the FAQ:

Atom doesn’t compile, build or execute code. If there is some community package that you’re using to try to get that kind of feature in Atom, you may want to contact the author of that package. The Atom FAQ has information on how to contact the maintainers of any Atom community package or theme.

To add to the above, if you’re seeking answers about a specific package, we need to know which one you’re using. It’s impossible to attempt to replicate an issue or explain a behavior without knowing the relevant package.
