Is there a shortcut to select same whole words?

I know the cmd-d shortcut, (https://github.com/nwinkler/atom-keyboard-shortcuts) but it selects the next occurrence, even within an other word.
Is there an option (like in search) to only look for whole words?

The current cmd-d freaks me out when using slightly different variables and is of no help.
Thanks!

If you select a word with cmd-d initially (rather than double-clicking the word for example), it will only select whole word matches with subsequent cmd-d`s.
