Is there a possibility to do this

#1

type in: <html>, end up with: <html></html>

If you don’t know what I mean, check out Brackets.io which does this. When you type in a tag, it automatically ends it too and keeps your cursor in between these tags. Is there a feature to do this?

#2

Snippets. If you are talking about html, try selector-to-tag also.

I think something happened to the formatting of your top line, it looks incomplete.

#3

Yeah, fixed it.

#4

type in html and press tab. That may be a bad example, because that tag results in a snippet with a head and title:

<html>
  <head>
    <title></title>
  </head>
  <body>

  </body>
</html>

But other html tags will be more like you are describing. Also use selector to tag or Emmet if you want to automatically add classes and ids.

I just saw this: https://atom.io/packages/autoclose-html. It’s more like the behavior you were originally looking for. Works great so far.
