electron-builder to build Windows apps, and Squirrel’s installation process doesn’t really suit my use case. Moving out the local AppData seems to work for the app, but I’m not sure I understand the roaming AppData well enough to understand whether or not moving roaming data is worthwhile, and how exactly to make it work.
As far as I can tell, the roaming data mostly boils down to being Chromium-specific things like localStorage, caches, etc. Now I’d assume nothing will barf if it doesn’t exist or if I move it, but I’m assuming I’ll have no way of accessing the new location.
Basically, does anyone know how to tell Chromium where to find localStorage, etc?
