I’ve been trying to contribute to packages that have deprecations (or just aren’t working) as of the latest update, but when I cloned the repositories into my packages folder they error, saying that the module is missing. I’m assuming that when you install a package via apm it installs the required node modules with it, but I don’t know how to do that on my own.
To install missing modules, navigate to the package folder and run
apm install from there.
There is also the
apm develop command that allows you to simply type
apm develop [package-name] and it will clone the source, and run
apm install for you.
Could not resolve package path (apm develop packages)
