I would like to ask about something that makes me nuts about while. I have an electron+angular app and I need to allow user to choose instalation directory and install the same app in multiple directories so every instance has it’s own database. At the same time I need to forbid user to run app twice form one directory at the same time(two instances that uses the same database). Multiple instances from different directories are ok. I use NSIS installer to choose installation directory and app.setPath() to change app data directory. BUT when I try to install second instance from installer at different directory installer deletes previous installation even from not related directory. Can I have multiple instances of electron app at the same time? I got the information that nsis has nothing to do with this behavior and I have to look in the electron settings, but I have no clue where should I look.
