[ Inquiry ] Grep Functionality?

#1

Hey All,

I am new to Atom and I am just trying to get my bearings

Is there a Grep search functionality. I did find cmd+F but that looks like a basic search function. I want to know if there is a way to search for thinks like returns( \r ) white spaces( \w )? Or can I groups sections with parentheses and the replace by calling groups /1 replacements /2 and so on. I am really referencing what I do on BBEdit and its ability to search with grep functions.

Thanks,
-Bill

In my version of Atom (0.89), you can just hit the Use Regex button in the search dialogue (.*):
