Inline CSS / JS single double line spacing

#1

I’m going through wes bos’s javascript 30 course, all his files are inline css and inline JS inside of a single .html file.

Atom doesn’t recognize when you are typing inline CSS / inline JS.

Its very frustrating.

So you end up double spacing every line you write

Example demonstrating where I pressed enter one time

I tried looking for a solution but I could not find any.

Can you explain more about why you have double spacing? I don’t know how that’s happening, unless you press the enter key twice.

Try it in safe mode and see what happens.

#3

Based on the fact that the code is highlighted and autocomplete menus are popping up, it looks to me like Atom does recognize when you are typing inline JavaScript.

So you end up double spacing every line you write

This is happening for you, but I have been unable to replicate the behavior.

Based on this, I would suggest that the behavior is generated by a package you have installed. You should try starting Atom from the command line with atom --safe to see if the behavior appears when all community packages are disabled.
