Improving C/C++ support

#1

There is a package for C++ syntax highlighting. The thing is: dealing with C++ is hard. For example, see this post by one of the KDevelop developers: http://milianw.de/blog/katekdevelop-sprint-2014-let-there-be-clang .

Would it be possible for Atom to use clang (e.g. libclang) for syntax highlighting, autocompletion, refactoring, and so on?

Hi there, I’ve just started trying Atom, and similarly use Clang. I found that atom-lint and autocomplete-clang give liveish warnings/errors and autocomplete respectively. I’ve submitted a patch to autocomplete-clang today so it can be used with .clang-complete files for project-specific includes - hopefully that’ll get accepted. It seems like atom-lint needs something similar, so I’m hoping to look at that next.
