Import RPi.GPIO as GPIO => ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'RPi'

Hello Everyone,

=> ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘RPi’

Can anyone help me with this error? I’m trying to run my program *.py, F5 or F6, and it gives me an error concerning “import RPi.GPIO as GPIO” in Atom. My program will be later used on a Raspberry Pi 3B.

The first lines of my *.py program:
import RPi.GPIO as GPIO
import time
from time import sleep

GPIO.setmode(GPIO.BCM)
GPIO.setwarnings(False)
pins = [14, 15, 18, 23, 24, 25, 8, 7]

ATOM 1.5.0 x64
Python 3.8.6 (tags/v3.8.6:db45529, Sep 23 2020, 15:37:30) [MSC v.1927 32 bit (Intel)] on win32

Do I need to install a package? How do I do this? Do I need to do something else?
Sorry but I’m a newbie to Atom/Python
I’m not this good at English because I speak Dutch :slight_smile:

Kind regards,
Joris
