I keep getting this error when I try to write code in any programming language

#1

When ever I try to run code using ctrl+shift+b (I have installed the script package) I keep getting this error:
‘csc’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

can anyone help me and tell me how to fix this? I have many projects to work on

It seems csc is a c# compiler.

To simply use the command csc, it must be in the path.

I try to write code in any programming language

This part confuse me as csc seems to be for a specific programing language c#, maybe the script package is badly configured.

Do you have a profile set up for script? Setting a profile and forgetting about it is one reason that it might appear to be using the same command for every language, because the profiles override the language detection mechanism.
