I Could Use A Little Help

I’m new to Atom, was messing around with it and seem to have done something accidentally and can no longer access the “Settings” menu. When I do attempt to open the Settings menu, I receive the error message “could not find a solution for ‘atom:\config’”. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling w/ CCleaner but I still can’t get it to come back. Additionally, it looks like Atom is automatically reinstalling the I had installed previously, so I’m assuming there is some kind of “previous settings cache” file that the uninstall is missing.

I feel like a moron, but I could use some help.

Try deleting the .atom folder in your user directory, then restarting Atom. All local settings and packages are stored in .atom.

that worked, thanks a million.
