I can't type the character "[" in Atom

#1

Hi there, I started using Atom a little while ago and recently noticed that I am unable to type the character “[” in Atom.

My OS is Windows 8.1 update 1, my keyboard layout is ISO Belgian Azerty (Dot) and I’m using the latest version of Atom.

Typing a “[” requires me to press AltGr (or Ctrl+Alt, which is basically what AltGr does on a single key in Windows as far as I know) and the dead key “^”.

The keybind resolver tells me I’m pressing Ctrl+Alt+], which isn’t the key in question, and that character can’t be created. I think that all keys that have an AltGr value register incorrectly.

That’s ok.

But for others having a similar issue, removing the keybind from the defaults allowed me to type “[” again.
I’ll be using this as a workaround.

EDIT: Should’ve read the thread. :stuck_out_tongue:
