How to see Ruby output?

#1

So im using atom with the “Script” package installed. When i use that to run my code it just says finished with a check mark. But what if i want to see the output of my Ruby code?

To be more specific if I put … puts = “hello”

Is there a way for me to run it and be able to see the output hello?

From a quick Google search of Ruby tutorials, it doesn’t seem like puts requires an equals sign. In fact, that’s probably what’s screwing it up.

just tried it without the = and still not showing me the output. :frowning:

Does the right-hand side of the pane look like this, by any chance?

If so, just press the expand icon adjacent to the close icon.
