In my React project, which I created with create-react-app, I had to re-install NPM. As a backup, I placed a copy of the node_modules folder in the root folder, but after that, Atom gave the notification ‘Too many changes’ in the Git tab. In my .gitignore file, the folder /node_modules is ignored, but my guess is that the copied folder was not ignored and therefore caused the ‘Too many changes’ message.
After removing the copied node_modules folder, the ‘Too many changes’ message is still there, and I’m kind of stuck now on to how to proceed. Is there a way to reset this Git tab?
Here’s a screenshot of the editor with all the folders and Git tab.
Any help is much appreciated!
