How to re-enable in-string parameter color? (e.g. "%d, %s")

#1

With a recent update of either Atom or one of its syntax-highlighting packages (I don’t know which of the two) C and C++ programs that have printf/scanf format strings (e.g. printf("%d")) have lost the colour of the variables inside (i.e. the “%d”). These literals appeared with the same color than escaped characters such as \n or \t, but now are displayed with the same color than the rest of the string. Is there a way to revert that?

I’m on Atom 1.13.1 on Ubuntu 16.10 and my current installed syntax package is the default one: language-c, 0.54.0
