How to go to next placeholder in atom snippets?

#1

In ~/.Atom/snippets.cson file I have the following snippet:

‘.source.python’:
‘Example of snippet in atom’:
‘prefix’: ‘xeg’
‘body’: ‘’‘
This is line 1 and placeholder {1:arg1}. This is line 2 and another placeholder {2:arg2}.
$0
’’’

When I type xeg in hello.py and hit the tab, it goes to first placeholder (arg1).
But then it will automatically type arg2 in the next placeholder.

I have to delete arg2 and rename it to my choice.
Question:
How to go to arg2 from arg1 using keyboard shortcut?
How to move back and forward between placeholders in atom snippets?

Suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

Note: hitting tab did not work.

You press tab again. If that’s not working, then something is wrong and you might need to troubleshoot it via the Keybinding Resolver.

I don’t think you can go back, only forward.
