I am new to electron and was setting up a project using electron-forge with the angular2 template. I can’t seem to get VS code to recognize the source maps correctly, though. The debugger connection works fine, thanks to the snippet at the end of electron-forge’s README.md.
Whenever I set a breakpoint in the index.ts, VS code marks it grey and says “Breakpoint ignored because generated code not found (source map problem?)”. I think the problem lies with the on-the-fly compilation that electron-forge supplies via electron-compile.
Did someone manage to get VS code, electron-forge, and typescript to play nice with each other? Or is there another good editor/debugger combo that I could use?
Thanks in advance
