How to build a C++ so (shared object)

#1

How do I build a C++ shared object in the atom environment? I have installed the gpp-compiler package, but it doesn’t seem to support building shared objects? can someone confirm?

All gpp-compiler does is run the g++ program on your computer. If you want to do something that the package doesn’t support, you can do it from the terminal using the normal command line interface. If you want to automate a command that isn’t supported by any of the packages, you can write your own in process-palette and attach that to an internal Atom command or even a toolbar button via flex-tool-bar.

Thank You, that worked well I finally got a chance to try it out!
