How to add a quit command keymap item

#1

Hi: I am working with Atom under windows. I am trying to map the operation of quitting the application to a key. I have the keymap setup, but I cannot get the quit operation to work. I notice there is no “quit” function on the atom or workspace object, so I cannot create a custom function to call the “quit” function. I tried the “application:quit” in the keymap and that doesn’t work either. Does anyone know how to programmatically quit Atom? Thanks.

The application:quit command is the correct command to map. You probably have something wrong in your keymap.cson. Have you tried using the Keybinding Resolver (Cmd+. on OS X and Ctrl+. on other platforms)? It will show you what key Atom saw you press and the command that was triggered because of it.

Thanks. An online lint was able to catch the problem.
