How does one publish a website they have built on Atom?

#1

I need you assistance, I need to know how does one publish a website they have coded on Atom.

#2

Depends on how you built the website and what programming llanguages you used, how much you’re willing to pay.

If it’s just a frontend website, then I might just put it on github.io and host it there. If it’s Ruby, host it on Heroku. If you it’s anything else, you might want to use Amazon Web Services .In any case, you’re going to have to learn their process, but it’s only a google away.

#3

Is it possible for me to publish it to my custom domain?

#4

Yes (I don’t think you can with Github?) but that’s a lot less important than just getting good content on the web in the first place.

#5

Thank you very much for your response, much appreciated.

#6

GitHub Pages does support custom domains.

#7

Is there a specific package I need to install?

#8

Dude, there’s a walkthrough right on the Git Pages website. Just scroll down.

#9

Is there no package I need to install to my Atom before I can publish to GitHub?

#10

No, there’s no package you need to install in Atom. The two systems are completely separate.
