How do I run my code in Atom?

#1

I’ve no idea how to run the code in Atom ?
Can any one help me ? :frowning:

If you want to run certain scripts and read their outputs in Atom, you can try the atom-runner package.

Excerpt from the README:
This package will run various script files inside of Atom. It currently supports JavaScript, CoffeeScript, Ruby, Python, Go, Bash and PowerShell scripts. You can add more!

There are several other packages that achieve similar results. You can search for them on: https://atom.io/packages.

I also find the Script package useful in this regard. It supports a whole lot of languages (as long as their interpreters and compilers etc are installed on the system).

#4

Oh but i need to run C and C#.

#5

Atom isn’t strictly speaking an IDE, it doesn’t come with such compilers or build tools included.

I’m not sure there is a package yet, which compiles and runs your C code inside of Atom, but you’re not the first one looking for something like this, so may be soon.

#6

So where can i code C# on a MAC ?
The has to be free
