How do I get Atom to display the Unicode numbers for invisible characters?

#1

Hello. I wrote a small source code file for Haskell in Notepad.
The GHC Haskell compiler gives me an error, saying that the first character of the first line contains the character \65279. Googling this tells me that this is the Unicode character ‘ZERO WIDTH NO-BREAK SPACE’ .

In Atom IDE, I press Ctrl+Shift+P, and select Window: Toggle Invisibles. It shows some special characters for some invisibles (such as newline) but it doesn’t show any special character for the first character of the first line.

My Questions:

  1. How do I get Atom IDE to show me the character \65279 ?
  2. How do I get Atom IDE to show me the Unicode numbers of invisible characters, instead of special symbols ?
