Hi? I have a question. Atom and git related questions

#1

If you use git bash, type git clone to get the project, and then open that project with Atom, git does not work. What’s the reason?

The same problem occurs if you run git-plus plugins.
If you open the git tab, you will see only the ‘create repository’ button.

This problem does not occur with the atom installed on the laptop, but only with the atom installed on the desktop. I want to know the cause and the solution.
Help!

I don’t know. That’s unusual behavior and we might need more information about your setup to figure it out.

This problem does not occur with the atom installed on the laptop, but only with the atom installed on the desktop.

What else is different between the two computers?

Hi.
Thank you very much for responding to my question.

1.I don’t know. That’s unusual behavior and we might need more information about your setup to figure it out.

  • I first installed git bash. Next, I installed the Atom ide.
After that, I used git bash to download the pre-generated repository project (using the git clone command).
Next, you have launched the Atom IDE and opened that folder.
All you have to do is to install the plugin to edit the README.md file.
That said, the notebook Atom IDE recognizes git normally, but the desktop Atom IDE does not recognize git.
If you have any suggestions on configuring git, please let me know.

  • The operating system is the same, and there is no difference.

Would you post a screenshot of your Atom window?

Which is?
