Git was not found

I tried to install a package, and got this error, even though I have Git installed:
Failed to install terminal-plus because Git was not found.

The terminal-plus package has module dependencies that cannot be installed without Git.

You need to install Git and add it to your path environment variable in order to install this package.

You can install Git by downloading, installing, and launching GitHub for Windows:

Run apm -v after installing Git to see what version has been detected.

ive tried reinstalling Git and reinstalling Atom but both didnt work
pls help

You’ll need to include more information about your environment in order for us to help you. I’m assuming you’re on windows. On PowerShell, what’s the output of:
where.exe git?
git --version?
atom --version?
cd env: followed by (ls path).value.split(';')? (Only include parts that reference git or atom for your own privacy)
