Git create branch but remote is not origin

#1

I think the Git integration in the beta versios is awesome. Thanks guys!

One thing I found today - my remote is named ‘hpcgroup’ rather than ‘origin’.
When I try the New Branch button I get:

cannot push because there is no remote named “origin” for which to create a remote tracking branch

I originally did have it named origin, but changed the name.
I bet I am completely misunderstanding git here, rather than atom

Can you share the output of this command so we can see your remotes? Feel free to mask the repository names if you’d like.

git remote -v

rsese I apologise. I did not see your response.

No problem - do you have things sorted out or are you still having the same problem?
