Getting an error while installing package

I am new to programming. I tried installing packages but i am getting errors. For example while installing atom-beautify i got the following error message:
throw er; // Unhandled ‘error’ event

Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open ‘C:\Users\HP Pavilion.atom\packages\atom-beautify.github\issuecomplete.yml’
Emitted ‘error’ event at:
at WriteStream.onerror (_stream_readable.js:696:12)
at WriteStream.emit (events.js:182:13)
at C:\Users\HP Pavilion\AppData\Local\atom\app-1.41.0\resources\app\apm\node_modules\npm\node_modules\graceful-fs\graceful-fs.js:211:14
at C:\Users\HP Pavilion\AppData\Local\atom\app-1.41.0\resources\app\apm\node_modules\npm\node_modules\graceful-fs\graceful-fs.js:241:16
at FSReqWrap.oncomplete (fs.js:169:20)

My guess is that the {space} between HP and Pavilion is causing a problem. The install location is incorrectly identified.

  • Did you install any package with success yet?
  • Which steps / process did you use to make the installation?

Perhaps alternate installation instructions may come from knowing these answers.

If all else fails the options are:

  • change the user name to something without spaces
(this will help for other future problems)
  • manually copy the package from the Github project to the install location
  • make a portable installation of Atom, using a simple folder structure
