Get Access Token from browserWindow and use it to open on Web Browser

#1

Hi, I’m new to electron and I would like to ask if it is possible to get the access token used in the browser window then use it to open your default web browser so that user won’t be asked to log in again on the browser?

You can open a URL with a GET value attached that identifies that individual, but this is the sort of thing that you don’t want to do if there’s any sensitive data behind that login.

Is it also possible to get the access token even if you are using a remote URL? For example, getting your access token in github.com that you just logged in in your browser window?

No. You’re only going to be able to do it with a server you actually control, and you should not ever do it if there’s any sort of important data attached to the logged in privileges. That’s just asking for your users’ identities to be stolen.
