Generate Project-Wide Symbols For Symbol Search

Generates exuberant ctags file for your project with cmd-alt-g. This is required to use Atom’s cmd-shift-r project wide symbol navigation.

You can add custom tag definitions for any language in ~/.ctags.

This is one of the major things Im missing coming from Sublime.
Im so used to look for my Sass definitions via the symbol search that’s quite annoying the lack of it now.

Hoping to see this plugin evolve or something native coming up soon.

You might be interested in the Goto package I just published which uses Atom syntax files instead of ctags. It also keeps the symbol index up to date with editor changes though also provides a Rebuild Index command if needed.

Ok, it is working now. Seems to be what was one of the things I missed most from Sublime. :wink:
