Fresh atom install on Ubuntu won't install any packages

Sorry, I’ve sent the message before finishing it by accident.

The installation went fine but I can’t install any packages, neither from atom nor with apm. My atom version is:

~$ atom --version
Atom    : 1.15.0
Electron: 1.3.13
Chrome  : 52.0.2743.82
Node    : 6.5.0

And this is the output from apm when trying to install the sync-settings package: http://dpaste.com/02P2JCM

I tried to delete the .atom directory and start from scratch, but it didn’t help. I don’t quite know what’s happening. Do you guys have any clue?
