Font size in Atom 1.17

#1

The default font size in Atom 1.17 is smaller than before. It’s too small on a 5k display. Is there a way to increase the font size in the tree view, status bar, etc.?

I had the same issue except in reverse … the font size was too large.

I fixed it by updating the styles.less file and changing the font-size for my theme.

I am using atom material so I added this:

.theme-atom-material-ui {
  font-size: 14px;
}

I am sure something similar for your theme should work.

Here is my styles code, which makes it look a lot nicer. I don’t consider Roboto being a good font for the text, so I’m using San Francisco:

.theme-atom-material-ui {
  font-size: 13px;

 .directory.project-root {
    margin-bottom: 20px;
  }

 .file.list-item {
    line-height: 28px;
  }

 .tab-bar .tab {
    font-weight: normal;
  }

  .ts-icon:before {
    top: 3px;
  }

  .list-group .selected::before, .list-tree .selected::before {
    height: 29px;
  }

  .list-group li:not(.list-nested-item), .list-tree li:not(.list-nested-item), .list-group li.list-nested-item > .list-item, .list-tree li.list-nested-item > .list-item {
    line-height: 28px;
  }
}
