First try on electron, app dont start

Hi guys,

im tryin to create a test app (to get familiar with electron).
After i start it with “npm start” nothin happens…
No error-message or somethin.

my package.json:
{
“name”: “test”,
“version”: “1.0.0”,
“description”: “test”,
“main”: “index.js”,
“scripts”: {
“start”: “electron .”
},
“author”: “MK”,
“license”: “MIT”,
“dependencies”: {
“electron”: “^6.0.8”
}
}

my index.js:
const electron = require(‘electron’);
const url = require(‘url’);
const path = require(‘path’);

const {app, BrowserWindow} = electron;

let mainWindow;

app.on(‘Ready’, function () {
mainWindow = new BrowserWindow({});
mainWindow.loadURL(url.format({
pathname: path.join(__dirname, ‘mainWindow.html’),
protocol: ‘file:’,
slashes: true
}));
});

where am i wrong?

using electron 6.0.8 and latest node.js (LTS) on Win 10 x64

This is your problem:

The ready event is case sensitive, it needs to be ready and not Ready
