Finding files should prefer the start of the file name

In my directory I have crashes.py and movecrashes.py. When I hit cmd-t to open crashes.py I start by typing crashes and the first one that comes up is movecrashes.py. First of all, why is m coming before c and secondly can the priority of the found matching files be based on the start of my search parameter?

I’m running 0.69

Probably it is fixed in new versions, current Atom version is 0.71.0

Nope. Not fixed in 0.71.0

When I scroll down in that list of matches, crashes.py was the last item in the list :frowning:

There is some discussion about this in the fuzzaldrin repo. This PR looks like it might solve the problem.
