I just opened Atom for the first time on this PC since 11/4/2018, and that must have prompted it to do the most recent update. While I was actively working on my project, my files just started disappearing from the Project pane until nothing but a few empty folders were left. All the files I still had open started asking me to save them, even if I hadn’t changed them yet. I checked the folders in the file browser, and they are literally all gone. The only difference I can see is that I now have 1.32.1 and 1.32.2 folders that were created at 7:37 PM, and the last “changes” to my 1.31.1 folder was also at 7:37 PM.
Fortunately, I was smart enough to push all my changes to my remote repository on 11/4, so I didn’t lose any work, but that could be a pretty huge problem for someone. Heck, if it had happened to me after a few hours worth of work tonight, I might have gone mad. What gives?
