Feature Request: Global variables in autocomplete

I would love to see global variables (is that what you call them?) available in Atom.
For example say I set a static variable in one php file it would be great to have it as an autocomplete option in other files e.g. templates or extending classes…

Similar to how phpStorm works maybe?

This is dependent on the provider implementation. If the provider goes through and collects all of the symbols from all the files in the project, then they should be available. If the provider just looks at the current file, then they won’t. The default provider can be instructed to look at all open files here:
