This happens all the time.

I have to resize the tab to fix this. Can this be permanently fixed?

You should open an issue on the minimap repo. Atom developers do not work on minimap.

I cannot reproduce this. Could you give the list of minimap extensions that you use?

It doesn’t always happen. Is your minimap on the left or the right? I switched it from left to right (which I don’t like but I don’t have a choice) and the problem is gone.
