Sometimes I need to view a Firefox tab on my other monitor, which usually has my editor (Atom). So I drag the tab out of Firefox on my left monitor to my right monitor. When the mouse gets over Atom, I assume Atom tries to process some event having to do with drag and drop, and crashes as a result.
This didn’t happen with my previous editor (Geany), nor does it happen when dragging a FF tab over Chromium or a Chromium tab over Atom.
The error in the console:
The program ‘atom’ received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was ‘BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)’.
