Creating new version failed: Git tag not found

Tried many things, read many threads, still fails.

The version number 0.0.0 gets bumped to 1.0,0 and a git tag is made, but publishing the language fails.

Here is the repo after I run the command below:

The command I run and the result:
~/Documents/language-orfeo $ apm publish major
Preparing and tagging a new version ✓
Pushing v1.0.0 tag ✓
Publishing language-orfeo@v1.0.0 ✗
Creating new version failed: Git tag not found

Tried unpublishing, but it failed.

~/Documents/language-orfeo $ apm unpublish language-orfeo
Are you sure you want to unpublish ALL VERSIONS of ‘language-orfeo’? This will remove it from the apm registry, including download counts and stars, and this action is irreversible. (no)y
Unpublishing language-orfeo ✗
Unpublishing failed: Unauthorized

I think I deleted my git repo and did it again and it messed things up.

Hoping this can be recovered somehow.

Trying to get @leedohm or another moderator to help me.
