Command-option-S invokes save as AND save all

#1

I am trying to save all open documents.

  1. I hit command-option-s
  2. the “save as” dialog appears
  3. I dismiss it, since I don’t want to “save as”
  4. All documents are saved

This is .0125 on 10.10 dp7

I’m on:

Atom v0.126.0-4bda13e
OS X v10.9.4

And cannot reproduce the described behavior. Here is what I attempted:

Repro Steps

  1. Open a file that has a name already
  2. Change something
  3. Press Cmd+Alt+S

Expected and Actual: File is saved with no Save As dialog

  1. Open two files that have names already
  2. Change something in one file
  3. Press Cmd+Alt+S

Expected and Actual: File is saved with no Save As dialog

  1. Open two files that have names already
  2. Change something in both files
  3. Press Cmd+Alt+S

Expected and Actual: Both files are saved with no Save As dialog

Have you tried running Atom in Safe Mode?

#3

I figured it out. It was the “untitled” file that got opened in the background at launch and got added to my project when I invoked “open Project”

#4

The editor should silently ignore any unchanged new file.

#5

Good idea. Seems it prompts to save it,
