Color braces in syntax theme

Two questions:

  1. Is it possible to change the color of the braces? i.e. ( ) { }
    I’m currently using this code:

    &.brace {

    // curly braces - {}
    &.curly {
    color: @cyan;

    // parenthesis - ()
    &.round {
    color: @cyan;

but that isn’t doing anything.

  1. I have a method call in Java that I can’t seem to achieve color-wise.

This is from Seti-Syntax

Notice that the size() method call’s parentheses are white, but the parentheses that encase the statement is red.
I can’t seem to figure out how to do that either. This is all I got:

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Try opening the dev tools. For example in this line (also with seti-syntax)

you can see that the parentheses after the function keyword do not have a .braces class, but rather `.punctuation.definition.parameters.(begin/end).js.

In addition to @olmokramer’s suggestion, you can now just put your cursor on something and execute the Editor: Log Cursor Scope command (Cmd+Alt+P on OS X). It will pop up an info notification with the applicable scopes at the cursor:

Awesome! I didn’t know about the Log Cursor Scope, that really helps. Thank you!

sweet. it keeps getting better!
