Clicking a line number scrolls buffer window

#1

Clicking a line number in my JavaScript file selects that line but also instantly scrolls the buffer so that line is no longer under my cursor. Clicking again will select the new line under my cursor and scroll the buffer again; this will typically repeat a few times and then stop happening until I use the mouse wheel, arrow keys, or minimap to scroll to a new location.

This is only happening in one of my JavaScript files. Any idea what’s going on?

Have you followed the suggestions in the Debugging document? Also, could you give the following information?

  • Which version of Atom are you using?
  • What OS and version are you running?
  • Can you reproduce the issue after completely exiting Atom and restarting using atom --safe?

Thanks @leedohm! I’m not seeing the problem any more. I’ll post here if it crops up again.

And thank you for linking those troubleshooting steps. I’ll use them in future bug reports.
