Cannot delete files in tree view that are in sshfs mounted drive

#1

I’m running atom 1.0.11 on Mac OS X 10.10.5. I have mounted a remote drive (on a machine running Ubuntu 15.04) using sshfs. I am able to read/write/create files without any problem, but I cannot delete files from the tree view. When I try to delete files, I receive the prompt “Are you sure that you want to delete the selected item?”; I select ‘Move to Trash’; but nothing happens. The file remains in tree view, and I can open it as before. No file is moved to Trash.

I have tried adding the allow_root option to sshfs at the command line, then starting atom as root from Terminal (sudo atom), but I get the same behavior.
