Can I set the color for specific html tags

#1

Is it possible to make a syntax-theme for html that targets specific tags?
For example the anchor element is green, the form element is orange and everything else is blue.

And is it possible to set a different color for the string between the tags?
So that the tags are blue and the text in between is black.

#2

This should be possible, yes, but it would require the html-language to assign different classes to each tag, which it doesn’t do yet, as far as I can see.

#3

I’m thinking on forking language-html and do that myself, do you think it will be easy or a really complex task?

#4

Apparently it would be complex

#5

This is now possible; see Color code specific HTML tags
