When I click atom.exe in Windows XP , get some error dialog which tell me about RegisterTouchWindow in USER32.dll .
Why would they bring support to an OS that’s not even supported anymore by the company who made it?
I’m with @gdscei on this. If it happens to work for anyone on WinXP, great. But spending resources on making it work on an out-dated OS doesn’t make sense for the developers.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised if some XP enthusiast decided to try and back-port it somehow.
My hunch would be that the needed Visual Studio libraries are not compatible with XP, but @zcbenz will know, since it is an atom-shell question.
