Terrific editor, to start …
I have to run on 32 bit Linux to support my old National Instruments LabVIEW,
and found that 32 bit support for Atom is a topic in these forums, for which
I am thankful.
I followed the instructions for RedHat, but found that the list of
Fedora/RedHat rpms required was not inclusive.
The command that included all the packages that need to be installed was:
sudo dnf --assumeyes install make gcc gcc-c++ glibc-devel git-core \ libgnome-keyring-devel rpmdevtools libX11-devel libxkbfile-devel \ esmtp libesmtp mailx ncurses-compat-libs redhat-lsb-core \ redhat-lsb-submod-security spax util-linux-user nodejs
My default Fedora installation is 32bit / XFCE, Fedora 25.
I am not sure who maintains the Documentation page about building, but
wish to suggest this as a change.
Also, the final atom.i686.rpm did not have a “default” snippets.cson file
with the “snip” snippet to enter them.
