This seems like a stupid question but I can’t figure it out. How do you browse for a file. Say i click into an image file in a src tag and i want to change the image. In DW you hit a key and browse comes up to allow you to browse for a file on your drive. Is there a way to do this?
- If you’ve got the Tree View open, you can right-click a file in there and select “Show in Finder” (or whatever the name of the native file browser is for your OS)
- You can right-click the open file itself and select “Reveal in Tree View” to show the file in the Tree View and then do the above
I added this to the keymap for quicker access:
'.platform-darwin .tree-view': 'ctrl-alt-m': 'tree-view:show-in-file-manager'
which makes for 2 easy steps:
⇧⌘\= Editor → Tree
⌃⎇M= Tree → File Manager
