Bracket Matcher does not ignore brackets enclosed in comments (Java)

When editing Java code, the bracket matcher does not ignore brackets enclosed in comments. In this case, the “}” which closes the method body is being matched to the “{” in the comment rather than the one which opens the function body.

If it’s important, I am using Atom for Windows running on Windows 8.1.

I should also clarify that I do not actually know if this is a problem with Bracket Matcher specifically or just the way Atom highlights the matching brackets… UPDATE: Confirmed. The “Select inside brackets” feature highlights to the mismatched bracket.

You’ll have to pardon my ignorance this once. Being new here, I didn’t notice the search feature when I posted this, so I didn’t use it. Thanks for the response.
