Atomn freezing all the time and removing storage doesn't clear cache

#1

Why is atom freezing all the time? It doesn’t matter what computer I use it on and if I don’t have any plugins enabled, it just freezes when a project has to many files open.

I read on google that deleting your storage clears the cache and opens a clean project, this does not work for me. I delete the storage and the project still opens with all last opened files.

So every time I have to open atom in safe mode, then close it and open atom normal again, this is very irritating.

I would’ve jumped to any other editor ages ago if their FTP plugins werent so bad.

What can I do about this?

How many is too many?

Try starting Atom with atom --clear-window-state. This will wipe out any memory of unsaved changes and open files.

Try starting Atom with atom --clear-window-state10. This will wipe out any memory of unsaved changes and open files.

Solved it for me
