Atom text font bug

#1

Hello all
I’ve been using Linux for a while now, I’ve used ubuntu 16.04, 17.04, 17.10, deepin and now I’ve switched to Parrot Linux based on Debian.

As you could perhaps see, there are a few distortions on the rightmost end of some letters -not always- which could get very annoying sometimes, tried to change the size of the text, the font, the theme, purged atom and reinstalled it, twice, eventually I decided to open Parrot from live USB boot to check, and the problem was the same. Note that Atom is preinstalled in Parrot along with a bunch of other software.
Thanks upfront.

Downgrading to libfreetype6_2.8-0.2_amd64.deb seems to solve it

http://snapshot.debian.org/package/freetype/2.8-0.2/#libfreetype6_2.8-0.2
after downloading the library cd to the folder and :
sudo dpkg -i libfreetype6_2.8-0.2_amd64.deb sudo apt-mark hold libfreetype6
Those seem to solve the issue
