Atom struggles to create a GitHub repository

I’m using Atom for a while and encountered an error that isn’t crucial but I don’t know how to fix it. When I try to initialize and push a new repository on GitHub directly from Atom, it fires an error like this:

Preformatted text`fatal: 'origin' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

But it works fine with cloning, not with initializing. Git itself works OK.

System: Windows 10, Atom from the last stable version, all packages are updated and work properly.

Thanks for any help!

By the way, if there is a way to solve this without the command/git line, please tell.
